HRC Transfer of Function

Our HRC (formerly known as EREC) is moving to Ft. Knox  As an introduction to AFGE Local 2302 please visit their website.

A Transfer of Function Meeting was held 14 - 18 December 09 @ St Louis, Mo.

Topics discussed during the meeting were: Union recognition, collective bargaining agreements, merit promotion, reassignments/transfer of function, realignment, job placement w/i the TOF, employee assistance programs, home buyer programs, temporary housing, security clearances and mobility agreements.

All locals with an HRC unit will be offering a special recruitment incentive of $100.00 to all new members that are transferring to Ft. Knox.

Employees of HRC are encouraged to ask questions regarding the benefits of moving and receiving the response in writing.  Please share the information received with your local.

Contractors are being afforded the opportunity to transfer with the work.  AFGE is seeking to convert those jobs back to government positions and our employees. 

As of 19 Dec 2009, AFGE Local 900  is still awaiting the decision from the INTEREST ARBITRATION ordered by the FSIP, they were notified today (Friday) by the FLRA that they were granting a TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER (TRO) against the agency pending completion of negotiations with the union.  A major win for AFGE and a new vision for   representation.  AFGE is the only answer.
