Welcome to DFAS - Indianapolis.                AFGE Local 1411 is the exclusive representative of all grade levels of general schedule (GS) and wage grade (WG) bargaining unit employees of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) located in Indianapolis, IN.

Whether you have transferred from another site or new to federal service, you are eligible for membership.

The Multi-Unit Master Agreement (MUMA) is provided electronically for your convenience on the DFAS Enterprise Portal Home page. The MUMA may be accessed in the following manner:

            Select Human Resources at the top of the page, then select the Labor & Employee Relations folder in the Human Resources box appearing on the left side of the page, expand the Negotiation News & Agreements folder and select Negotiated Agreements, then select DFAS Headquarters & Centers Union Agreement.

Center Core Hours:  7:30 - 4:00

Flexband Hours:    6:00 - 8:30 & 3:00 - 6:00

Lunch band: 11:00 - 1:00

The employee must ensure that the basic eight (8) hour work requirement is met each day.

If you are new to Federal Service and serving a one (1) year probationary period please be aware of the following as it may result in termination

1. Attendance is important (excessive absenteeism although approved by management may result in termination)
2. Punctuality is critical (being on time and ready for work)
3. Security Investigation results
